SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Dallas, TX

The Senior Accountant is responsible for critical financial aspects of the Rolland U.S, Sapphire and RTC by providing meaningful leadership and support contributing to the overall success of the organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for general accounting, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, supporting aspects of transaction processing, and treasury tasks. The Senior Accountant is a full-time role reporting to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions

  • Execute daily cash deposits electronic and manual

  • Responsible for the timely execution of the monthly close process

  • Monthly review of financial accounts, variance, and performance analysis

  • Daily and monthly reconciliation of Rolland U.S, Sapphire and RTC bank accounts

  • Ensure timely and accurate information delivery (reports and analysis)

  • Demonstrate service-oriented leadership to help the accounting team support and manage financial information.

  • Process income and sales tax returns timely.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.

  • Ensure monthly maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts

  • Ensure compliance and maintenance of internal control safeguards.

  • Participate in treasury and cash management activities on an ongoing basis

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Minimum of five years’ experience as an accountant or similar roles is required

  • Experience in small to mid-size organizations preferred

  • Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred

  • Netsuite experience strongly preferred

  • Experience processing a large volume of transactions

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a primary focus on Microsoft Excel
